Reply to; To Attack or to Not Attack?

This article my colleague has written is very interesting. Israel is a concern because their views of war are different. There will always be a disagreement between Iran and Israel, as well as Iran and the U.S. The question remains: do we stop Israel if they decide to attack Iran? What draws the line between being an ally of Israel, or being a super power to protect all nations? If an attack were to happen, it might become a problem for Israel, but since Israel is our ally doesn't that mean we have to help them? All said, I don't believe Israel will attack unless further provoked by Iran in severe ways. Yes Iran has no nuclear weapons, but to Israel it doesn't matter, they will always dislike Iran.
This post has interesting points, and it was an interesting read. Only time can tell what Israel and Iran will do to each other. It could be considered a stale mate in my opinion, both Israel and Iran are ready to attack the other, or so it seems. If such a battle comes, it will be up to the U.S. to help to halt it from happening in severity. We can only hope nothing stirs up.
